Just finished
It’s December 31, 2023 and I just finished the 365th reading of this NRSV translation. I try to read a different translation every year. The NRSV was clear and very understandable. I really appreciated the authors who contributed to the Contemplation section at the end of each daily reading. If I had one criticism of this Daily Bible, it would be that the days are numbered rather than being dated. I was constantly adding up the days in each month to make sure I was keeping up or if I missed a day that I was catching up. I will start a different translation tomorrow.
