Null Stillness

The night was clear and cool; the stars dazzled. Awareness dawned I was the one perceiving the world around me; I was not blinded by the lights. I sank back into the solitude. My soul and mind stretching to the stars.

Who would have thought my being here in the middle of nowhere with the spirits of the land would be my liberation moment?
