If they didn’t already know, most paramedics soon get to realise the downsides of motorbikes and smoking. After all, dealing with the aftermath of both pastimes makes up a lot of their callouts. And for that, Jono’s crewmate, Zippo, is an enigma. He smokes, he rides, and also has what he terms a ‘book bucket list’. But is it fate, or synchronicity, that leads them to a job in a library?
