O Pioneers! Revisited
I had to read this book as required reading some 13 years ago in high school, and it recently came across my mind. So I thought I’d give it a re-read because it had been so long since I first read it and I didn’t remember much from it, and I’m so glad I revisited this great book. Willa Cather doesn’t disappoint by sharing the complexities, passions and desires of the many characters in the novel. She effortlessly connects the past and present into a beautiful intricate framework that keeps you hooked page after page. 10/10
