Customer Reviews
I may not finish
If Google Maps or Waze wrote a book, this is the one. Every time someone goes from point A to point B every turn on every highway, road, avenue, street, goat track and car park is detailed. It’s every page. A lot of other very mundane activities are detailed for no apparent reason. I zipped my pants, put on my shirt, pulled on my boots and zipped them up ad nauseam all the time. It’s like most of the book is filler. Or written by a computer, except the computer is not really clear on proper grammar and punctuation. I kinda want to see what happens but so much of the story is so completely boring I don’t know if I’ll make it. Also, please stop taking characters from established mythological pantheons and giving them different names to be ‘different’. When you call a kitsune or a kelpie something different like it’s a mysterious new creature it’s a little insulting - like we don’t know what a kelpie is from other stories.
