Oblivion

The mind is a bird; eyes, its wings of thought.

When wings forget the ecstasy of myriad horizons,

And ears forget the glimpse of heart’s whispers,

Life shalt drift in ripples of emptiness

Dripping from unchained skies of oblivion.

‘Oblivion’ is the search for breaths sans forgetfulness,

For skies beyond horizons,

For whispers of careless unison, and

For the deafening echoes of silence.


It is the quest for love in sundry shades of life: 

A small girl selling balloons in fading twilights…

A father with a daughter sans sight…

A soldier in the silence of death…

Life, as a caravan of breaths…
