Unique spin on Beauty and the Beast
I throughly enjoyed this unique spin on the fairy tale of beauty and the beast. It was an enemy to lovers theme. I loved how many twists and turns it had to develop the characters and the story. It’s a great magical story that is also very clean and wholesome which makes it a good story for ages teen and up.
I liked the story.
A good story, but at times it kinda gets away from you too much over explaining Interesting twist on the beauty and the beast story though
What Happened
This book started out so promising. I was genuinely invested—the concept was engaging, the writing pulled me in, and the characters were developing beautifully. For the first half (maybe even more), I was hooked and ready to give it five stars.
And then… something happened. The last 200 pages descended into total chaos. It felt like every possible plot twist the author ever brainstormed got tossed into the mix with no filter or purpose. Characters were suddenly in love without any buildup, someone was pregnant out of nowhere, and the whole thing unraveled so fast I could barely keep track of what was going on. Instead of enhancing the story, these twists just made it messy and confusing. It honestly felt like the author gave up on cohesion and just threw everything at the wall to see what would stick.
What started as a well-written, thoughtful story ended up being a tangled mess that completely lost the magic it began with. I’m honestly disappointed, because this had real potential to be amazing.
