FROM THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE LOVING ON THE EDGE NOVELS, THE FIRST IN A SENSUAL NEW SERIES
Overtime has never felt so good…
Marin Rush loves studying sex. Doing it? That’s another story. In the research lab, Marin’s lack of practical knowledge didn’t matter, but now that she’s landed a job at The Grove, a high-end, experimental sex therapy institute, she can’t ignore the fact that the person most in need of sexual healing may be her.
Dr. Donovan West, her new hotshot colleague, couldn’t agree more. Donovan knows that Marin’s clients are going to eat her alive unless she gets some hands-on experience. And if she fails at the job, he can say goodbye to a promotion, so he assigns her a list of R-rated tasks to prepare her for the wild clientele of The Grove’s X-wing.
But some of those tasks are built for two, and when he finds Marin searching for a candidate to help her check off her list, Donovan decides there’s only one man for the job—him. As long as they keep their erotic, off-the-clock activities strictly confidential and without strings, no one will get fired—or worse, get attached…
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Marin Rush first meets Ph.D. candidate Donovan West when she's a young college student. For one intense week she helps him write erotic audio scripts as part of his sex therapy research, and they share a single passionate encounter. Their lives go in separate directions until Marin moves to New Orleans to become a sex therapist under the mentorship of Dr. West. Surprised that Marin's sexual experience is limited to their one assignation, Donovan offers to tutor Marin after hours in order to round out her education and make her a better therapist. Apprehensive but curious, Marin commits to their relationship provided that neither of them gets attached, as any hint of impropriety could cost Marin her much-needed job. Loren (Break Me Down) explores how consensual role playing and fantasy add to sexual pleasure. Her characters are flawed, particularly Donovan, and this brings dimension to a setup that might otherwise be contrived.

Enjoyable 👍
This book is heads above the rest in the romance/erotica genre. The story line, while a little far fetched (they work in a sex clinic, you firgure it out), maintains the readers interest throughout. Characters, including supporting characters, are compelling and keep the reader invested in the outcome of the story. Highly recommended.
Amazing
The first scene is so sweet because she’s so young learning about things she’s never heard of. The game gave me a rush it was so hot. The plot was perfect, no stupid made up crisis or repeated paragraphs. Just straight up good sexy writing.
Really Good
I actually really loved this book. It was realistic and the characters were equal... not some cliched billionaire and virgin. Worth reading.
