As the name suggests, Off To the Sea by C. Shaw is a book about voyaging, a wrecked ship whose captain knows that it is going to sink but still makes one last effort to save it. It is a startling story of courage, cleverness, strength and great fighting spirit with which the occupants of the ship fight the aftermath of the storm after their ship is wrecked.
