Amazing Book!
Tom Bower's Oil picks up right where Daniel Yergin's "The Prize" ends. This book provides excellent detail on what occurred behind the scenes in the oil industry over the past 20 years. Particularly, the events that have transpired over the past decade, as the price of oil climbed above $140/barrel. While the news events were noteworthy, the real events that played out behind the scenes between governments, companies and other power players answers many questions.

This book is a lame attempt to capitalize on the Gulf oil spill crisis! Don't but this book and allow a bottom feeder to make money on such a tragedy.
