A farcical, near calamitous start to a relationship between landlord Simon and Michelle, his talented and very attractive actress tenant, leads to a distinctly sinister turn of events as an honest Russian oligarch seeks the City’s help in repatriating, and investing his fortune from Moscow. Carol, an experienced investment banker, well respected and sought after by a small coterie of international clients, seeking wealthy obscurity, is Simon’s significant other.
Thespian egos and tantrums suddenly present Michelle with a starring role in a London West End theatre. Acclaimed for her performances, she is rewarded with an opportunity to play the female lead in a major new film, to be shot in Russia and Berlin.
Threads of theatre and banking intertwine as events draw interested parties into a lethal conflict in Russia’s arctic north; events are driven by greed, corruption and systemic lawlessness, and financial and political control from the very top of the State.
