Don’t torture yourself
The last three books have focused not on a mystery or the town, but on a juvenile love triangle. The leads act like pre teens, not at all like the 30/40 somethings they are. On top of that, the lead is reckless and selfish, and downright stupid. This is the last one of the series for me.
