The pattern for their submission within this institution is the image of God, and the foundation for submission is not an innate superiority or inferiority but a difference in role or function. God’s promise is a happy life of blessing in this world and the next. It is the promise of seeing good days, and biblical submission links inextricably to seeing good days now and eternally.
