When an old comrade Court Gentry thought was dead returns to haunt him, his own life is put in the crosshairs.

O’, Puh-leez! Courtland Gentry is a Fool.

This is the third Gray Man story I have read. And the last.
Greaney writes well, but this outing completely turned me off to the series.

The series hero is supposed to be THE preeminent hired hit man in the world. Yet he blows operational security and every other tenet of professionalism, reason and logic to save a woman. All for the sake, apparently, of a story arc that is an annoying and totally unreasonable diversion.

After three outings with the Gray Man I also find his endurance—and coincidental good luck — tiring.
