Too much Stefoff; not enough Darwin
Rebecca Stefoff pretty much kicks Darwin out of the car in chapter 1, and leaves him standing along the road for the rest of the book. Stefoff spends too much time talking about her own research rather than Darwin’s. She seems to be in love with the word “I”, as she uses it often and freely. If a young person wants an in depth understanding of who Charles Darwin was, how he conducted his research, and the conclusions he drew, look elsewhere. If that young person is more interested in Rebecca Stefoff’s work, then by all means purchase this book.
