Depth
My first book by this author. I was pleased with the subject as I am an artist & used to manage a bar which piqued my interest. After reading it I will definitely read more by Riley Scott. The inner anxiety and insecurities of both characters, especially Lennon’s, were written with a lot of depth and insight. The chemistry that she was able to capture in spite of everything else that was going on was perfect. It’s pretty steamy & erotic, but this book is so much more than that because obviously there has to be some affection and romance for things to move forward. I have to say that for me it’s a 5/5. It had an unusual story, wasn’t “too much” in any way or another and clearly shows each MC’s personality well enough to allow the story to unfold the way and in the amount of time that it did.
