Once Upon A Nightmare

12-year-old Esme should be sneaking sweets or staying up past her bedtime... Not thinking her stepfather, Horatio, killed her mother. A visit from a talking rabbit, Julian, confirms her suspicions regarding Horatio, when Julian shows her what really happened the day her mom died. The only problem is Esme has to prove it.

Luckily for Esme, she has support from a couple of friends. Even if they give her the benefit of the doubt when they shouldn't.

But what starts out as trying to record a confession turns into psychological warfare. Horatio always anticipates her next move, which begs the question if Esme can outwit her stepfather before she becomes a casualty of war.
