Loved team Douglas and Jacobs! It's a winner!
I think I'll keep this one in my library to read again - it made me smile and feel lighthearted. 😌
Not too bad
It took a couple of days to finally finish reading this unusual, emotionally draining but spicy enemies to lovers romance story. I have to admit it’s not a typical meet cute one especially you throw in an hot, cocky professional hockey player, Ryan Douglas who’s a team captain of the Rangers hockey team and Chloe Jacobs, an fiesty but relationship phobic Public Relations representative. After meeting and experienced an near to death experience together, they begin this rather knocking boots with no strings attached relationship. It had some hilarious and heart tugging moments along with the usual twists and turns that put some roadblocks between them before discovering they truly love and needed one another. I have to admit Ryan Douglas is definitely a swoon-worthy and nice guy who happens to be a hottie which described of having an amazing eight pack abs that’s really hot!!! As for Chloe, she kinda irritated me but of course, Ryan seen something in her that he really worked hard to win her over. Surprisingly I liked this story even though I could only give an 3 stars.
