Enjoyed every heart pounding moment of this beautiful romance
I LOVED One Careful Owner. Jane Harvey-Berrick is incredibly talented, giving us real people facing life's challenges with a perfect balance of romance and love along the way. In this story, we get the blending of Dawn, Stan and Alex's POV which creates this fabulous journey. I will say I was surprised the first time I stepped into Stan's head, the dog, but loved his viewpoint knowing that if you really know a dog, this is probably what many think/do. Katie-kay, Dawn's daughter, steals the show and is just a wonderful light in a crazy world. Alex stole my heart as he struggles to find meaning in a world that seems to have let him down. He thought he found love but that was thrown in his face so he retreats and Stan is his only friend. Their connection is one of those beautiful unconditional love friendships that sustains Alex. When Stan needs to see the vet, Dawn enters their lives. Dawn is drawn to Alex and Katie is the one person he is able to talk to. Will Alex be able to trust again and find a way to embrace what life? Dawn has her own issues to overcome, she wants to trust Alex but has been burned in the past. I enjoyed every heart pounding moment of this beautiful romance.
