One Christmas Eve (A Short Story‪)‬

The year: 1950. . .A young mother, Genny, wants nothing more than to give her daughter, Karen a special Christmas. Not an easy thing to do when money is in short supply. Knowing she has little choice in the matter, Genny enters the pawn shop and gives up the one thing she has worth any value. But with the help of her friends, Mr. and Mrs. Green, Genny gets a special gift of her own. It’s a Christmas where Genny finds that love and friendship is one of the greatest Christmas gifts.
