One Hundred Parables

This collection started as a newsletter with a goal of 100 short stories in 100 days. It took more like 306 days to finish.



For anyone interested in writing, it takes courage and creativity to write and to share the result with others. Who knows where this urge comes from, something above and beyond surely, but this project developed those qualities in practical ways.



These stories bring the meaning of a parable out of its purely sectarian and simplistic category into a broader expression of moral and imaginative fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. There is humor, ghost stories, personal histories, and Kafkaesque waking dreams. Enjoy.
