Order and logic. That's what it's all about for number cruncher Dena Brenton. Being the victim of a random attack while at a conference, however, throws her life into a chaos she's not prepared to handle. Her family rallies around her as usual, but when video game developer Carter Bennett wants to lend a hand—and maybe his heart—Dena pushes the big, old pause button on him.

Carter understands Dena has gone through a traumatic event. He's all too familiar with traumatic events. The buggers get right in there and twist up your insides. He faced his grief alone though, and he doesn't want that for Dena. She's strong. Of that he has no doubt, but even the mighty need a shoulder to cry on, right? Carter can be what Dena needs if she'll just press play.
