One Little Miracle

A little boy, deserted by his drug-addicted mother and barely alive, arrives at St. Joes Emergency. He's been without food or water for days. Will he survive?

Pediatric nurse Hailey Bergstrom takes David into her arms and from that first moment, into her heart. Nurturing but plain, she knows that for her there will be no romance, marriage, or children of her own. She falls deeply in love with this baby. She wants to find a way to foster him.

And then social worker Roy Zedyck walks into her life, and suddenly Hailey's heart is out of control, with love for David--but also for Roy. And he feels as deeply for Hailey as she does for him.

But then he deals Hailey's hopeful heart an unexpected blow that sends her reeling.

How can he send her beloved David back to the woman who nearly killed him?
