Broken down, beat up, and sorry for how I had been living, I told God that I was all His and asked Him to forgive me for all the stupid, selfish things I had been doing. As the puddle began to form from our tears, I asked God to bless our baby, and said that no matter what, I would follow Him once and for all.

Born in Kentucky, Kelly Barcol relays his personal story, which has propelled him into a life of impacting others. Having experienced a multitude of challenges at an early age, but having the awareness to fight to outgrow old habits reveals Barcol’s motivational transformation. He opens up about childhood memories, enabling you to recall your former years. Later, readers witness a life of recovery from drugs and alcohol abuse. You’ll see how the trajectory of his life and countless others was changed when One Man, One Time extended a life changing invitation.

Barcol’s life will leave you believing there is something good in every person you make eye contact with. You could be the One Man or Woman who influences one person that changes the world! At the end of each chapter, Barcol invites you to gain an equal level of self-awareness and God-centered connectivity through inspiring chapter questions as:

1.   Have you ever felt like someone wanted to destroy your dreams? How did you handle it?

2.   Describe some opportunities or people that have drawn you closer to God? Describe some opportunities or people that have been a distraction from God?

3.   Does God have a purpose in our suffering?

Through building a rapport with Barcol, his shared wisdom and your interaction, you will find there is hope for anyone struggling with abandonment, promiscuity, divorce, death, drugs or alcohol abuse. You will see hope in the eyes of every individual who comes into your life regardless of their past or present mess. You will feel inspired to be that One Man or One Woman who gives a life changing invitation.

Leslie McGhin ,

One Man, One Time

This book gives an excellent description of how God has taken an ordinary man and is doing extraordinary things in and through him. We should all be encouraged to seek what God wants to do in and through our lives as well! God wants us to love Him more and share that love with others. After reading this book it's evident that Kelly Barcol has accepted this challenge from God and is being the Hands and Feet of Jesus.
