APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Mark Greaney’s ex-CIA-agent-turned-world-class-assassin hero faces a terrible choice in One Minute Out. If the Gray Man (a.k.a. Courtland Gentry) takes down a sex slavery ring, he risks losing valuable information about an upcoming terrorist attack on U.S. soil. So what does Gentry do? Take the toughest, most dangerous path! Greaney keeps his best-selling spy series fresh by leaning on his talent for great characters: Talyssa Corbu, a no-nonsense junior Europol operative who joins Gentry, is a particularly welcome addition. With plenty of flinty one-liners and jaw-dropping action sequences, the ninth Gray Man book has us eager for #10.
In bestseller Greaney's remarkable ninth Gray Man novel (after 2019's Mission Critical), Courtland Gentry (aka The Gray Man) takes on the Consortium, an international sex slave cartel, the existence of which he stumbles on while committing a hit on a Serbian strongman. A former CIA employee, Gentry fell out of favor to the point that the agency was trying to kill him, and after getting that misunderstanding straightened out, the agency is still kind of trying to kill him, though he works as an off-the-books assassin in a secret CIA program called Poison Apple. Never mind his official status. What's important is that he's probably the greatest assassin in the world, and those who oppose him usually end up dead. In this case, he decides to defy his bosses and hunt down the men who are part of the Consortium, running his own op with no help other than that from Talyssa Corbu, a junior analyst for Europol, whose sister the sex traffickers have captured. As always, Gentry is up to the task. Spy thriller fans will be enthralled. Author tour.

The books starts off a bit strange since, for the first time, Gentry’s storyline is told in the first person from Court’s perspective. At first it was odd, but then you fully appreciate Court’s point of view, what he is thinking, his insecurities, and why he is doing what he does. Great book, great story and very topical. Highly recommended.
Another awesome Gray Man thriller
This is the first time we get to hear from the Gray man in the 1st person and it worked really well. I really hope Greaney continues in the next novel. This was one of his best and that’s saying a lot.
One minute out
Another 5 star book about the gray man.
Mark Greaney is only one of a few authors that I have liked every book. When you want to read just another chapter- that is the definition of a good story. February seems to be the month for a gray man novel- will await 2021
