Jack and McKenna’s story has them meeting at her bro’s wedding. They both have past that shaped their perspective on relationships. But what they don’t count on is chemistry and hormones.
Sweet, Saucy, & Refreshing
One More Time is a sweet and saucy romance. Jack and McKenna are each very verbal individuals who aren’t afraid to ask for what they want. I love that they are both direct with each other and their loved ones about what they want—and don’t. It’s refreshing and fun to watch their relationship develop as they get to know each other. I also love the supporting characters in this novel—and the realism of the lives and world these people live in. This is my first JH Croix book, but it definitely won’t be my last. Even though it’s part of a series, it read easily as a standalone, and I can’t wait to dive into the other books!

Jack and McKenna
Jack & McKenna story in One More Time is an excellent story. I loved how they met on the ferry just before the wedding of her brother Kenan. Jack becomes her knight in shining armor when he comes to McKenna’s aid an introduces himself as her boyfriend to her ex from high school and they become friends. This story deals with bullying and dating someone just because the family is well known and the effects it has on their adult relationships. The story is emotional and is heartwarming and you will love McKenna. I throughly enjoyed reading this book.
