My life is perfect.
I know what you’re thinking. No one has a perfect life. But let’s check the evidence. Head of a billion dollar fashion brand. Reigning King of Instagram. My life is a steady stream of… whatever the hell I want, actually. Trips around the world, priceless jewels, fast cars, and even faster women.
And none of it seems to matter.
Then I meet someone who doesn’t care about the cars, the fame and the money. She doesn’t know me as anything other than a guy in a bar. She just wants to have a good time. Something I’m more than happy to provide.
Until she ditches me after the hottest night of my life. And suddenly I know what my life has been missing.
A slow read
Just as the book was starting to get interesting it was over. Not even a good cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more. Just blah
It’s a short story opening for the follow up book. I laughed a little to hard in public. But I’m excited to purchase and read the next one. 😂🥰
The warning I wish I’d had.
This is a few chapters of a book. The type that I really try to avoid. I’ve bought entire series because the first book was great storytelling. I refuse to buy books a few chapters at a time as if they were entire stories. This had potential but the moment it warmed up a tiny bit it ended. Not even in a cliffhanger but instead as if the rest of the book got lost. I didn’t even bother with the teaser for the next “book”.
