It is November 1933 when Jessica Ashmore steps off the train from Baltimore to the Colorado high plains with her six-year-old daughter, Emma. Though hungry and penniless, Jessie finds solace in the fact that a nursing job awaits her in this remote outpost. But when her best-laid plans fall through, Jessie finds herself in a temporary position in the household of a kind rancher and his none-too-happy son, Sean.

I payed money for a book that said it was 300 pages long, it was 120 if that. I never read short stories unless I am tricked into it, this is that book. Was a wast of my time! Story was good, just to sort.
