The stories in this book are true. I have combined some of the fact scenarios. The one criticism of the editor is that some of the stories strained credulity. I can’t help that, all of this happened. The fact that these incidents did happen is why I believe that I needed to bring this awareness to young men.
I wish I had a better explanation of what it takes to be a man in our society or at least what would satisfy you young men in believing that you have achieved manhood. Talking about good judgment, running away from bullies, etc. may be a weak defense against the manly appearance of those on Duck Dynasty or ………, but breaking the law will bring you the everyday reality of arrests, charges and convictions.

Great read for my 13 year old
After my son got in trouble at home with us. My wife and I found out he went straight to Facebook to tell the world. We had heard about this book it's lessons. Before our son could wrap up his punishment, this book had to be read. It was the perfect fix. When our son finished it he saw the importance of not being that boy doing that one stupid thing before thinking about the consequences. Thank you for this book. It's a must read for all young adults.
