Silver Salem is well-educated in classical languages, ancient history, and the secrets of the occult. But during America’s Great Depression, she’s also desperate for work. When she receives an urgent request, she accepts it without asking too many questions.

Collier Dunne is no ordinary client: bad-tempered, reclusive, and handsome as sin. He needs Silver to translate an ancient document before the next full moon. All Silver knows for sure is that Coll is hiding a painful past…and that she desperately wants to be part of his future.

Silver must trust her own growing power and defeat the darkness threatening them both. And the Halloween moon is rising fast…

This novella is part of The Brothers Salem series of supernatural and paranormal romance, where the occult meets the wild.

A Touch of Silver isn't enough

I want more! Elizabeth Cole draws you in with layered characters and an intriguing new plot line...and then it's over! I hope she has the next book almost finished because I want more. I LOVE Piewicket and want to see how he develops. Bravo Ms. Cole, I'm hooked!

Scary Good Read

What is the first thing you think of when you are introduced to a girl, a telepathic cat, a creepy Gothic mansion, and a handsome mystery man? Scooby Doo, right? I couldn’t resist (giggle)! Our heroine, Silver Salem, arrives in Seagrove, New Jersey, to translate an ancient passage for her mysterious employer, Collier Dunne (he needs the passage to help him break a curse). Once they meet, things get interesting. I won’t give away the good stuff, but I’ll put these questions to you: 1. When is being a werewolf not the curse? 2. How do you outsmart a demon? 3. When are you beyond glad that your new girlfriend brought her cat along? 4. How can you resist a Gothic romance set on a South Jersey beach in the winter? Good introduction to a new series.
