They say you have to kiss a lot of frogs, but what if a prince shows up . . .
When a prince—not the kind who wears a crown—swoops in to rescue me, I kiss him before I even ask his name. I'm sure I've given him the wrong impression, and he'll bolt away like a cat out of a bathtub.
Except he keeps showing up.
Maybe fairy tales are real.
We all know they aren't.
More than a Fish Tale
This is a great story. The characters are so well-written-they’re fun and funny, and just the sort of people you’d want as your friends. Nico makes the best book boyfriend, needle phobia and all. Layla is just cute, not is a sappy way, but in the ‘be my best friend’ way. Together they make a cute couple finding their way to forever. The story has some great ins and outs, and I love the way Ms Carrington has the couple persevere to get their HEA that had me smiling the entire way.
I loved this cute and sweet love story with the cutest references to the Frog Prince. Both Nico and Layla have some big fears, but I loved how each of them helped the other to overcome their fright. These two characters really complemented one another. This is a story I’ll read again!
I received an ARC of this story but the review is my own.
Layla’s day goes from bad to worse at the start of this hilarious novella until her prince comes along to save the day. I did not like Nico in the previous book so this story was definitely his redemption. This book was so so good! I think I laughed through the entire thing. Absolute must read that I will be recommending to everyone.
