The Internet is a powerful tool bringing a range of cataloguing tools and resources at the librarian’s fingertips. By clicking the mouse, the librarian can consult the various tools needed to provide adequate bibliographic description, such as, online public access catalogs (OPACS), bibliographic utilities and databases or the Internet to search names of authors and places. This is a far cry from original cataloguing a few years back.
