Still sizzling after all those years!
This is book 3 in the Light My Fire series and it features Rowan in Mae. These two share a past from their college days. They were best friends and decided to go on a couple of dates. After that she ghosted him and he never knew why. Now, years later, he wants to know what happened but is she ready to tell him? Explanations will be difficult to swallow.
This is a fantastic second chance romance in a fantastic series. Their chemistry is still sizzling hot! There were many twists and turns for Rowan and Mae and some family problems for Rowan. It’s a great read with a satisfying HEA.
Only Ever Us
A good second chance story with these two being good friends going towards possible more but things go wrong only for them to come back together when a fire breaks out and he comes to the rescue as a firefighter. I volunteered to read this book for my opinion
The sweet after the bitter
You can’t have the sweet without the bitter.
I thought JH Croix did a great job with this book. Mae is back in Alaska and coincidentally (not) so is Rowan, her friend and almost boyfriend back in college. She ghosted him as he’s all tangled up in the worst night of her life. Mae deals with that night by not dealing with it. Though I liked how successful she was in her life beyond that one night.
Rowan is clueless as to why Mae stopped talking to him, ghosted him in college and now actively avoids him. He’s sweet, quiet and charming.
