Violet’s dad left a long time ago, so it’s just her and her mom. She’s an only child, so she doesn’t have anyone to look after or make an example of, but she promised herself she would try her best, so she wouldn’t end up like her father. She’s obsessed with her grades. She’s an overachiever and a perfectionist. Her dream school is Harvard, and she plans to get there at all costs. Nothing has ever gotten in her way before even with her past. High school doesn’t matter to her. She just wants it to be over. She has a rough history with the bad boys, but can a new boy break down her walls?

 Ace is a bad boy. He drinks, smokes, parties, lies, cheats, fights, and well, you get it. His town has two high schools and one junior high, so he and his friends were separated a few years ago. His grades aren’t great, and he probably doesn’t even know what homework is. He gets expelled from his school and starts over in a new school, falling right back in with his old friends. When a pretty girl catches his eye, he wants to know more, but after finding out she’s a nerd, his reputation is at stake. Even worse though, when his friend blackmails him into going against his judgment, what will happen?
