Short and sweet. Highly recommended!
This story is a couple of new characters, Nick and Carrie. It is a short and sweet read that can be a stand alone. All of the Reeds do show up but they are not the main characters. Having read the previous books can help with knowing their backgrounds. Nick and Carrie met when they were young teens. Carrie’s family are only there during the summer to stay at the beach house and Nick lives in town. After a couple of summers Carrie doesn’t come back and leaves Nick heartbroken. Now after 3 years she is back to spend one last summer with her mom. Be ready for all the feels.
