Before the curse, before the confidence. Getting a chance to see the Mother Mage we all love from a young age is an absolute treat!
The story has a different tone than that of her Daughter’s, but the pace is quick and there is plenty of action and drama.
A great start to what I hope is a series of mysteries with our favorite surgeon and mage couple. Looking forward to see what happens next!
