Opposites Collide

The movie:

When a Montague and a Capulet are found dead together, detectives Apollo and Poppy must work together to dig up the truth.  Why were a dog hybrid and a cat hybrid from two prominent, rival families together in the first place?   Who killed them?  And most importantly, why? 

It seems two young family members, Miles Montague and Jennifer Capulet, knew the victims the best, but how much can they be expected to know about their aunt and uncle's lives?  The more the detectives learn, the less the double homicide makes sense.  Can Poppy and Apollo solve the case before their burgeoning attraction to each other collides with the mystery at hand?
