Optimization in the Natural Sciences

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 30th Euro Mini-Conference, EmC-ONS 2014, held in Aveiro, Portugal, in February 2014. The 13 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 70 submissions.
