Publisher Description
From one of the funniest minds -- and pens -- of our time, at last, the definitive collection of the very best of Opus, everyones favorite maladjusted penguin. One of Americas most beloved comic geniuses is back, with this collectible 25th anniversary compendium of the best of Opus, joined by his hilarious supporting cast, including Binkley, Milo, Bill the Cat, Steve Dallas, Ronald Ann, and the rest of the residents of Bloom County and Outland. From Antarctica to Omaha, Opus has cavorted with space creatures, impersonated rock stars, fended off accusations of penguin lust, and even campaigned for office.
Now, in addition to the classic strips, Berkeley Breathed also brings us never-before-collected Bloom County cartoons and original all-new material from his Opus comics. Brace yourself for the sidesplitting, table-pounding, milk-through-the-nose-spewing laughter that only Opus and his outlandish friends can generate. The perfect collection for both die-hard fans and those discovering the matchless humor of Berkeley Breathed for the first time.

Terrible formatting for iPad
The automatic formatting of the page is terrible and makes this comic almost impossible to read...much less enjoy.
Really, really, painfully - hard to read.
Yes I do have 20/20 vision, but this is awful!
There is a reason there is not much of a preview for downloading. It would be painfully obvious that the strips are almost impossible to read in this format. Really too bad, I love the strip. This one star review is based on the format alone in this case. 5/5 stars for the content if it was readable.
Please don't make the same mistake I made and get the printed version in this case. The first time I have not liked the electronic version of a book better.
Wish I could get my money back on this one!
Poor formatting
Unfortunately, instead of full screen comic glory, iBooks displays opus as pages with comic strips on them. The result is that it is majority white space with barely legible text. Irony as Breathed frequently commented on the ever shrinking comic strip sizes in newspapers. The iBook version is even smaller.
