In this science-fiction-slash-comedy-slash-adventure story, a reluctantly heroic boy and his three friends from a clan of genetically engineered children challenge everything and everybody that wants them to be fake and unfree in a volcanic crater at the top of the world. Villains aplenty and mysterious characters give them lots of opportunity to grow into their own skin.
