Organ and The Probe

Earth year 3416. What's left of humanity?  A military diaspora living aboard ships and stations. The Probe, a vessel designed to explore and exploit resources, stumbles into the orbit of Organ, a life-bearing exoplanet where a human settlement was successfully established nearly six centuries earlier. 

Major Strauss, a solitary young officer, is sent on a mission to the surface, where he discovers the customs, social organization and strange powers of this community. 

A young woman almost entirely tattooed, who feels mysterious and sudden pains, and claims to be the "Keystone" of her clan, will gradually transform his vision of the world...
