So much more than organizing!
I received a free advanced copy of this book as part of the launch team, but I also had pre-ordered the ebook before receiving the advanced copy.
I was thrilled with this book. It is really about so much more than just organizing. Dana touches on decluttering and cleaning as a part of the process. I have been following Dana's blog, podcast and YouTube channel for quite a while, and admittedly am familiar with many of her tips. This was packaged perfectly someone just getting started, but also great for folks like me to refresh our memories on what we learned.
Dana can really relate to those of us who do not come naturally to managing our homes and possessions. Her strategies are do-able in short spurts over long periods of time. Best-of-all, we do not have to create a disaster area with sorting piles taking over our home. "Take it there now" is one my favorite tips. (Also, "just do the dishes"!)
My favorite thing about how this book was written is the fact that she gets straight to the point. Many decluttering/minimalism/cleaning/etc. books spend pages and pages discussing things that I don't really care about. I just want to get to work. In this book Dana gets right to the strategies, and you can start at any time!
I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to take control of their home/possessions without diving into a messy, intense project.
