The book is sub-titled: "A Chakat Family Journal - Book II", and their stories span the years to the next generation. Despite the fact that they are anthropomorphs of various kinds, they are nevertheless all too human in their motives, failures, and relationships, but in the end they are true to themselves and gain strength through the family.
