I'm done with men. After going through exactly one hundred guys, I'm certain there's something wrong with me. That's why I packed up and took myself to the lake cabin. I needed a summer to just work on me without any hint of romance.

However, my resolve for a boy-free summer quickly fades when a lost dog shows up on my porch and leads me back to his gorgeous owner, Mateo. He's unlike anyone I've ever met. And he's blind. But somehow, he sees me better than anyone else and the heat between us is electric and irresistible.

There's only one problem: he deserves better than me.

For the past five years it's just been me and my seeing eye dog, Bessie. I tried to date, but once a guy finds out I'm blind, he's gone. So I just gave up, resolving to be happy alone despite what anyone else says. However, when Bessie returns with a man, I find myself completely smitten.

However, it's obvious Adam has a boatload of baggage. But the sound of his smile enchants me and a single hand on his cheek tells me he's about as handsome as they come. It was all too easy to fall into bed with him. The only problem is, he's leaving at the end of the summer.
