I love this series.
Highly recommend this series to manga lovers.
Grilled to perfection...
This is awesome. I recommend this to people who like anime and romance and also some every good humor. This series is good and I'm glad it's on Netflix too. So this book is cooked to perfection!
This series is one of the first that actually brought a tear to my eye. Ok so it was the anime but still, when my parents and I were almost done with the series I was a little sad. But then they told me that the manga would have more...And it turns out by more, they meant 18 VOLUMES!!! I practically fell out of my seat. It wasn’t over. Even after the brilliant ending to the anime there was more to come. The story of these 7 people that I’ve learned to connect so deeply to had only just begun. And dang I was glad for it. I mean look at it. They writings intelligent, the character developments amazing, and Hunny is in his own league of awesome. As a boy teenager who also has a stuffed rabbit (It’s a peep plush I’ve had since I was four), I can relate. And that’s not to say that the other characters aren’t just as amazing but...IT’S A BUNNY TOTING SWEETS LOVING HARBINGER OF DOOM THAT HAS A BLACK BELT AND HAS A DECIEVINGLY SHORT HEIGHT...WOW!!! And even then, the development for the other characters is amazing. Tamaki was honestly my least favorite for a while. But the puppy eyes scene was absolutely amazing. He’s a dog lover, you can’t just love dogs and NOT be one of my favorites. Okay he’s only gone up one spot but still, it’s hard with so many other great characters. And I haven’t even gotten to the main character yet. Deadpan humor mixed with some of the most moving scenes and lines makes Haruhi my second favorite character. But she will never beat Hunny...No one can beat Hunny. And there’s Kyoya who has become a bit of a role model for me. If I had to choose a literature character that I would want to be, it would be Aherlock Holmes. And with Kyoya as this series’s Holmes, this puts Kyoya neatly at 4th place. The one just ahead of him being Mori. His silent personality and guardian relationship with Hunny has made him responsible for some of my favorite scenes in the entire anime. And even if Kaoru and Hikaru are tied for last, it’s not to say that I don’t like them. There are a lot of touching scenes involving them. And the fact that the fight episode is one of my favorites. Perhaps only contested with the newspaper club episode. It’s just that I didn’t really connect with them as much. But still, their great characters nonetheless. All this mixed with perfectly timed lines and amazing storylines makes this a manga and anime that I would certainly run for a thousand miles for. Anyone got some heart fuel?
