Out of Order

As a result of mistaken identity, a nun is murdered in an idyllic setting in the Hudson River Valley, setting in motion a frantic search by the assassins for their "correct" victim. 
Then, the assassins learn that they have two distinct targets to eliminate.
Meanwhile, both "targets" have become aware of their peril, and take vigorous action to stay alive. One has video evidence that can undo her pursuers, provided that she can stay alive. The other has only her wits going for her--and a relative, State Line University professor, Matt Shea who, with his friend, Lackenby Police Chief, Joe Weiss, are her only hope as she flees westward, dodging her pursuers by the narrowest of margins. 
A deadly race rages across the eastern United States and into the Chicago metropolitan area--and Death is firmly behind the wheel.
