Let me make this clear - this is not another book about Prostate Cancer!  It should still, however, be at the top of your reading list if you've been diagnosed and are now facing the prospect of surgery - a prostatectomy.  You see, by the time surgery has been chosen as your treatment option, you've probably gotten all the information you want about the cancer itself.  Instead, this book is about "pee".


As one of the potential negative side effects of my upcoming surgery, the dripping or leaking of urine became my primary concern.  Compared to everything else (yes, even Erectile Dysfunction or ED) this seemed the most likely to impact my quality of life.


What ensued is this "care and feeding of the male urinary system" which can help you understand the least talked about aspect of this potentially life changing event.  The bad news is that you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and are facing surgery.  The good news is that you can do things to empower yourself towards normal or near normal urinary function following that surgery.


This deeply honest book is both informative and entertaining as it covers topics such as catheters, diapers and even bicycle riding!
