The book is ok.
I enjoy the book. I was looking for a book similar to j Bree-the bonds that tie and this was a recommendation. It wasn’t a binge worthy read (had got annoyed with the MFC- stop and start again.. repeat) but I was able to complete book one and start book two.
I like how strong the fmc is but I was so mad at her for the most part. She wants to be loved- she doesn’t want to be loved. I know trauma has a lot to do with the mindset but…….. people can’t read mind or scent if it’s not revealed. And there is a lot of assumptions as well on her part of what she believed the guys will do if they realized she was “theirs”
I wish the author would have revealed or give context on the guys struggles- not just the fmc. The been some not so pretty stuff as well and I can’t hate them for their behavior like what the book intended. They are nice guys but the book only focus on what the fmc went through, her confusion, and her wants and needs - etc.
It’s drawn out and I keep loosing interest, but wanting to know what happens in the end so I start reading again. lol.
