Paint The Bride - Episode One

Paint The Bride is a serialized story published in the literary and illustrated quarterly magazine GREY TALES.



Episode One - "Godspeed, Renty!" - finds the painter Jan van Eyck arriving in Lisbon as part of Duke Philip the Good's marriage delegation, who intend to negotiate the Duke's marriage to the Infanta Isabella with her father, King John of Portugal. First, however, they must find King John, a task which, for everyone but the messenger Renty, turns out to involve a great deal of killing time in the impoverished Portuguese capital.
