Paladin’s Kiss is a supernatural mystery in the Elemental Covenant series by Elizabeth Hunter, nine-time USA Today bestselling author of A Hidden Fire, the Irin Chronicles, and over forty other works of fantasy fiction.
Carwyn and Brigid, a mystery and a wedding
The books about earth vampire Carwyn and his vampire mate/spouse Brigid who wields fire, just keep keep getting better. In “Paladin’s Kiss” Carwyn and Brigid head for New Orleans to uncover mysteries involving vampire friend and ally Gavin Wallace’s computer company during Gavin and human fiancée Chloe’s extended wedding celebration. It was great that Elizabeth Hunter included characters from the entire Elemental World to attend the wedding and even aid in the investigation. The story moved right along as the investigation and wedding celebration moved towards a conclusion. The only issue? I guess I was expecting more of Gavin and Chloe as a couple. Carwyn and Brigid make a great couple, as investigators, as husband and wife, and as vampire mates. They can be funny, serious, and very, very steamy. They are very active sexually, keep a fan handy! Elizabeth Hunter has written an entire Elemental World and has created a universe of wonderful characters and storylines in her many books which offer an unlimited amount of entertainment, books that can be read and reread to your heart’s content.
